2 years, 10 billion miles

As of this morning I’ve worked for this company for 2 years.
Adding up how the world spins, goes round the sun, and the sun around the
galaxy, that means I’ve been working here for 10,026,582,015 miles.  (I
have yet to find anyone who can give me a good number for our galaxy’s
movement in the universe.  So, I continue to calculate this based on the
center of our galaxy being pinned in place.)

Of course, I’m a lazy bum and only actually work about 25% of the time.
(OK, 24.8174%, But sleep, weekends, holidays, vacation, staying up late to
finish watching the season of Torchwood, adds up to quite a bit.)
So, that would mean I’ve only traveled 2,448,332,112 miles actually on
company time.

That’s still pretty far.
