The sign run around
Jul. 19th, 2011 10:31 pmTonight we wanted to get some more work done on the signs for our faire.
When we set out the sun was still up.

When we got to
So, I drove home and got it. It’s only about 2 1/2 miles each way.
I got my new projector and brought it back.
That’s when I realized in the more than a year I’ve had this laptop I’ve never hooked it to a projector before. I knew this because my video adaptor from my old laptop didn’t fit this one. And, I’d have noticed that if I had ever tried this before.
So, off to Best Buy on the other side of the hill in Worcester to get the right cable.
(I brought the laptop into the store with me to make sure it fit.)
By then, the sun was down, but that’s OK for projecting.

The set up was a bit strange and took a bit of work, but hey, it worked.

I traced our logo.

We were going to fill it in with pain tonight. But, after all the trips I took to get projectors and cables, it was pretty late by the time I got it traced. So, we'll fill it in some other time.
It will look better when filled with paint, right?

I hope so. My wife's doing the fill in and she's much better at that sort of thing than I am. So, I'm sure it will be fine when done.

Date: 2011-07-23 03:51 am (UTC)J and i still need to know whether the venue has a table we can use or if we need to bring one; whether the sheets we will otherwise use for a table-drape are OK since they are not flame-retardant and some venues care about that; and if vaguely medieval and/or Viking clothes will be acceptable for us to wear (because I don't know what else we'd wear!).
:)
