This whole Rapture thing

This Rapture target date for tomorrow seems to be getting a lot of news.
I’m not sure how they can say the bible says when it will happen when Jesus
specifically says that not even he knows when it will be. (Given that he
is believed to be the personification of God his not knowing should mean no
one knows. I think it is like me last night saying “I don’t know when I’ll
be home, I’ve got to finish this report first”.)
But, I digress.
Apparently there are only going to be 144,000 people taken up in the
rapture. There are 6 ½ billion people running around right now.
So, 0.0022% are going to be taken up.
Would anyone notice?
22 ten thousandths of a percent of the folks go missing?
And, given what I’m told about it, it is unlikely to be the party people
who get picked.
It’s the stay at home with the bible types that are expected to be on the
short list.
How long will it take for the other 99.9978% of the world to notice they’re
gone?
