We had dinner at my favorite noodle place. But, I’m worried about it.
Look at what’s opening shop next door:

I’m going to have to speed up my robot freezers to protect my noodles from the Connor’s.
Even though the parking lot at Holy Cross is at the bottom of the hill, it still gets good views.

I know what causes my breathing problems this time of year.

I love these gongs. I might well go to the show just to hear them sound.

As always they started off blessing the performance area and performers.

The guy who comes here from Indonesia to teach this really gets into the performance as well.

There are many dances.

It took me a while to figure out this was a butterfly dance and not some sort of pot holder dance.

One of my favorite parts is when he describes what is going on.

And, he can dance with a fan like nobody’s business.

The last dance of the night seemed more ornate than usual with a variety of monsters being vanquished.

But, they were vanquished.

In the end, he got everyone singing, on and off stage.

Even with all those people singing, I could still hear his wife (on his right) singing clearly through all the other voices. That was very impressive.

Date: 2011-05-12 01:24 am (UTC)The flowering fruit trees rely on insect pollination (BEES!) and don't broadcast pollen. The hardwoods are more primitive forms, and pollinate by spewing vast amounts of pollen throughout the air- and if you've seen it under an electron microscope, it's usually covered with spikes. No wonder it's so irritating!

It is the blanket the area ones that really get me.
