This morning we woke up and had a lot of snow.

I had brought my computer home, so set it up and worked here for the morning. The snow let up about noon, so I decided to go in to the office for the afternoon.
(Any of you who say “Frank, didn’t you go in because the accountant said people who didn’t show up would be charged a vacation day” obviously are very cynical.)
Finding the car depended on knowing where it was parked as they all looked more or less alike.

(Don’t accuse me of anything for saying that! Some of our best cars are foreign cars.)
It was fairly deep.

(No one is buried under the car. I took the glove off first.)
Back in November some of our fans in Alabama wished for a snow man. So, once the cars were done, we built one for them.

Then, out on the road. Even at noon, not a lot of traffic.

I did see some strange things. On 495 a police car went by very fast in the high speed lane with light and siren on. Soon after a small truck in the center lane went by even faster and passed the police car.

They went around a corner and I never saw them again. I would think there would be some sort of repercussion for passing a responding police car in a snow storm. But, maybe they were too busy.
Only one lane of 495 was even close to clear.

This led to some trucks getting a bit more aggressive then I liked under the conditions.

But, I did get to work.

Soon after I got to work, they plowed the lot.

Made me think I might have been better off waiting another 1/2 hour.
But, I got to work. I worked and I came home.
Not too bad in the snow.
