Vans, rings and nuts
Sep. 29th, 2009 09:59 pmI spent a few more hours up in New Hampshire today helping Brett and Tom redo their new house. I sanded down a lot of woodwork for them, pulled old carpet tacks out of the stairs they’re going to paint and broke down some counters in the kitchen they wanted thrown away.
On the way there, I passed a van for sale...

Very tempting at $800. It cost me that much to rent a van every trip down south.
And, a nice roof rack too...
But, it looks like it could only take 2 people, which would be an issue.
Still tempting.
Pretending folks care, I found a way to keep my O-Ring wedding bands clean that seems to work well. I soak them in boiling water with baking soda. I do the whole batch at a time to make it easier.

Nothing new on the job front so far this week. But, my wife and I went to see the movie Surrogates tonight at the theater that sells the sorbet I can eat. Always a nice treat. And, we both liked the movie.

I can just see it now...
