fbhjr: (Hat of doom!)

My high blood pressure pills were renewed for 90 days the day after I was laid off in March.
So, CVS pharmacy decided to be proactive and call me to remind me to renew it.
I clicked the answers they needed on the telephone and they told me it would be ready the next day.
About 5 minutes later, the phone rang.
“Hi, this is CVS,” the woman said. “I’ve got to review some things for your renewal of the prescription you have.”
“OK,” I said. “What do I need to know.”
“It will be made by a different company, so the name is different,” she said. “And, since it is made by a different company, the pills are a different color.
“And, they don’t put it out in 90 day amounts, so we can only give you 30 days worth at a time.”
“It will have a different name, look and amount,” I said.
“That’s right,” she said. “I thought I should warn you so you didn’t think you got the wrong prescription.”
“That’s a good idea,” I said. “Otherwise, I probably would have jumped to just that conclusion.”
“But, it’s the same chemical,” she said. “So, just take it like you were.”

I haven’t switched over yet as I hadn’t totally run out yet. The old ones were yellow and orange. These are white and blue. And, a different name and amount.
It’s good they called.

Very good on their part. It covers their butt, helps you, and makes folks more likely to stick with them due to good service.
