Green and yellow
May. 10th, 2009 09:15 pmIt was warm, sunny and windy today. So, the trees were really going at it. They did their best to turn my red car yellow.

As much as I don’t like the pollen, it is nice to see everything turn green.
And, each year I am amazed at how quickly it happens. One week, tree branches. The next, buds. The week after totally green.

It was windy enough today so the reservoir we drive past to practice had white caps on it. On my second trip past I saw a hawk hovering over the edge of the road able to stay in one spot in the wind.

At practice we almost had a real problem with folks sparring.

Next time, masks...
One member left her purse at practice, so after we got home I had to go back to get it. But, I did manage to see a deer under a tree on my way back home.

They often hang out there at the edge of the nursery. Must be all those nice young trees. Often there is more than one, but only one today.

I even had a Roman program today, and had to explain why goofing with swords without protection is a stupid idea.
It's not nearly as swollen as yesterday, but it's certainly more black around the bottom of the socket. *shrug* ah well
