How to find a job
May. 6th, 2009 04:46 pmThe unemployment insurance people required that you take their “How to find a job” seminar.
It is supposed to be a three hour class. But, some big shot from the statehouse wanted the conference room, so they did it in one hour.
i guess that’s good. I’m much happier with the “you can read this stuff at home rather than have me read it out loud to you” method.
I’m told they “had an engineer come in here once”. I guess he liked the free fax line.
But, now most stuff is over email, so I don’t see a lot of reason to drive downtown to use their office.
I can check everything else on the net.
But, I want to keep getting the check, so I took the class.
