Wow, British Airways has bad customer service

We got new passports. The reservations are made with the old ones.
I don’t want to show up at the airport and not be able to get on the plane due to a mismatch.

So, I tried to update it on their web site.
Won’t work.

Tried their chat bot. It said I had to call.

I called and was told "we’re too busy to talk to you" and hung up on.
Five times over 90 minutes.

The 6th time, it didn’t hang up on me, but put me on hold.
For 53 minutes.

Then, a nice young man did fix the issue fairly quickly.

Once I hung up, they called me back with a customer service poll to see how happy I was.
Morons.

The fact that you eventually got someone is a miracle haha.

But of course now if you go to fill out the survey, you have at least one positive (the young man who helped you) so perhaps the customer service poll is clever :p

But, as maybe should have been expected, the survey crashed half way through so all the got was my overall score, which was not good, and not the individual one.
