Week in photos

Town by town my state is getting worse with the plague. This is one of the towns next to us. The town we live in his this standard last week…


Despite that, I went in to the office 3 of the 4 days I worked this week.


I theoretically had Friday off, but still worked 6 hours at home. (Half of that a review meeting.)


It was a damp and cool week and certainly dark while I was going back and forth to work.


I had asked for Friday off for the goats. So, the center of the day was for that.



Saturday morning was fairly cool.


And, there was still plenty of snow on the ground.


As the day progressed it got warmer and a lot melted.


It was very easy to tell what stayed in shadow and what did not.



I didn’t clean off my car until 3 in the afternoon, but there was still plenty of snow on it.


It was still a nice day.


That evening, under the light of the full moon with the first snow of the year still on the ground we went to the evening event at the botanical garden we go to a lot near us.

Our tickets were for 7 and we showed up right on time.


I took a long duration photo of the mountain north of there and got a good image of the sky as well.


I’m glad my phone is so good at night photos.



But, it was very brightly lit. Sometimes no extra night vision was needed.






Other times, the help was needed.





I liked these lights they had by their pool.


The moon was very bight. Bright enough it was difficult to photograph.


It was lit up quite nicely.







I had worn a bit of my "work clothes".


I did accidentally kick over this gnome. I apologized and left it a drink. It seemed OK with that.


Much like with the goats, there were times I think the snow made things better.


As we were near the end, my wife realized there was someone she used to work with on the path above us.


We started having a conversation, then suggested we wait for them to catch up.


We went through the route again with them so we could chat.


Today I had to do the errands I’ve been putting off for the weekend. But, I only get pick up stuff at Target…
