This week’s practice

Most of our jobs have cancelled. All the ones we have left are in the next 3 weeks. So, we told the person we rent our practice grounds from that today would be our last day and we’d take the rest of the year off.

So, for the last practice we did do some sword, dagger and pole arm work.



While I did practice several sword fights with my wife, Tom and the boy of glass, I am less willing to hand my phone to someone these days and say "take my photo as I do this", so you’re going to have to take my word for it.

Then over to fire that we’re performing next week and 3 weeks from now.





On the way home we drove through a thunder storm with a lot of rain and hail.


We got home and there was a flash a crash and a lot of darkness. That’s strange as we almost never lose power. And, this time it stayed off for maybe 30 seconds before it came back.
Took a while for the network to come back. It’s 4 hours later and there are still flashes and crashes outside, so quite a storm.
But, I don’t care what the clouds say, we’re still not having more practices after this…
Well, at least at that practice ground until January…

Maybe for the show you could have one of the boys put in fresh gloves just before a show to take photos with your camera...and then they can take them off. They both do wonderful jobs at photos with it.

We live at the top of a hill, so it would take a pretty big flood to get us.
Getting home can sometimes be a challenge. But once there we usually only have to worry about the wind knocking trees down on our cars.
