Everyone, and I do mean everyone, at work is talking about the coronavirus. I can hear them talking in the background about it as I write this.

There are cases of it quite close to us. The wife of one of my coworker works at the school where they quarantined a class trip just back from Italy.
Another’s daughter works in a hospital with one of the patients confirmed to have it.

Folks are worried, no doubt about that.
We work in the life science industry and hear more about such things than some.
But, that does not reduce the worry.

I certainly hope the spread slows down. But, I have no particular reason to think it will.
And, I’ve read far too much history to think everything will be OK.

But, hopefully it won’t be too bad.
I don’t think it’s going to be good.
