Weeks in photos

There’s a new expansion in Pokemon. Based on the names that showed up, maybe it wasn’t quite ready yet. But, it was soon sorted out.


My burn on my finger is mostly healed. Not bad for 2 weeks after a second degree burn.


I got my new phone and tried to do a phone to phone transfer, but ran out of time.


But, I got home and just backed it up from the computer.

As is tradition, the first photo taken with the new device was of my wife.


We got back from LA Wednesday and I went back to work Thursday morning. Traffic did not welcome me.


Friday was alternate game night.


We started with a cooking game.


Then on to a spy game.


Then a Carcassonne variant.


It started small, but grew.


I didn’t win that one. Yebo lapped us on the score board.


Today I got my hair cut, got the oil changed in my car, picked up my prescription at the drug store and got my shirts from the laundry before my wife woke up.


But, I had trouble with people parking badly.


Once my wife was awake, we got lunch from a deli we like and then went to the local botanical garden and had a picnic.


Then, went into the place.


They had a special exhibit with moving sculptures.



They also had a fairy house exhibit. Since my wife is big on fairies, we went over there, ignoring benches.


The big stick sculpture that used to be there has been taken down, but there are fairy houses.


There are a bunch of them along a path.


There are some that were just doors, and some that were houses. They’re all cool.





The butterflies seemed to like the fields.


And, my wife seemed happy.


Then, it was just a question of finding my little car in the parking lot.
