The good news is that the trees that the caterpillars ate have recovered some. I’m very happy about that.

Sunday my wife and I went off towards Boston and had breakfast at that Swiss bakery we like.

Then to the movies. The back of the theater had sheet metal art.

Fancy nice seats.

When we went to Australia, we found Tim-Tams followed us home.

Now that we went to Amsterdam, we found that Stroopwaffles have followed us home.

Monday night I picked up the car for the trip.

Tuesday morning it was off through New Hampshire and Vermont with my coworkers to go to Montreal.

We crossed the border without too much trouble.

Canada is flat.

And, still under construction.

We did see the main part of Montreal in the distance. But, never got very close.

We saw a lot of industrial parks.

We made it to the place we were going.

I was surprised to see ICBMs and Tanks waiting for us. But, the conditions of US/Canadian relations is such I shouldn’t have been surprised.

The next morning I found the missile had not been launched. That’s good.

Going home we did go through the city instead of around. But, we really didn’t get to see anything of the cool parts.

Crossed the Saint Lawrence River again.

I guess there will be a new bridge soon.

Canada. Still flat.

But, good croissants.

Vermont. Less flat.

Over that hill is where my family used to live.

Varied weather there.

We did stop at rest areas in Vermont.

And, have dinner in New Hampshire near where I sued to live.

Back at home the weather wasn’t as bad.

But, it did still rain.

Friday was game night.

We only did one game. It was supposed to be fast. It wasn’t.

I got almost no photos of these mythical creatures.

Others had much better luck.

I didn't stay too late as the god kids will be here soon.
