The day we left I had to work. Also, I did want to save time to not drive home before the airport. So, I asked a coworker for a ride to work.

I only worked for 7 hours before my wife came and got me.

Going to the airport we saw a terrible accident where a car carrying truck had broken in half on the highway.

The traffic was very bad going the other way.

We did hit traffic of our own when we reached the city.

We got a reasonable view of the USS Constitution from the bridge.

We got there before the previous flight to Amsterdam, but I wasn’t able to get us on it.

But, our plane got there and we got on it. Getting on the plane was where my wife dropped her purse somewhere near the gate.

We flew through the night. But being summer up here and flying north, it was never totally dark.

As we got to Amsterdam, I did the phone search for my wife’s phone and confirmed it was on the west side of the ocean.
