I need a 4 dimensional camera
May. 18th, 2018 03:06 pmI just got off of a phone conference with one of our sales people.
One of our customers wants to move their robot freezer from one building to another and was asking what was needed.
“Take the tower off and lay it down on its back,” I said.
“Which side is the back?” he asked.
“The side opposite from the front.”
He called up a photo of our unit, taken from the front.
“Point to where the back is on this photo,” he said.
“I can’t,” I told him. “That is the front. You need to put it down on the back.”
“Is the back this?” he asked, pointing at one of the covers.
“No. You can’t see the back on this photo as this photo is from the front. It is the side you can’t see.”
“You mean this round thing here?” he said, pointing to the side tray.
“No. I mean the back.”
“This side on the right?”
“No.”
“This side on the left?”
“No.”
“This part on top?”
“You cannot see the back in the photo. There is nothing you can point to on a photo of the front that will be the back.”
“Oooooh, I get it,” he said, pointing to the right again. “You mean this side.”
“You can’t see it on this photo,” the head of sales said.
“But, it’s a photo of the system! You mean it is a different system?”
“No,” everyone else on the phone call said at once.
“I know what side to put it down on,” the service person doing it said. “I will take care of it.”
I’m glad he was on the call…
