First practice of the year

We started by going to storage and picking up our sword for practice.


It was cold and the snow was still on the ground.


But, our landlord had the heater out.


It was nice to have folks show up.


Casey led the kids and new guy in some practice.


But, there was other sword fighting too.


The lake looked good on the drive home, but I wouldn’t roll down the window for the photo, so it didn’t look great.


As we went home we found one of our favorite take away places was closed due to frozen pipes.


So, off to somewhere else…
