We got our first snow of the season this week.

And, I was sick most of the week. My wife bought me a hoodie with wolf ears for Christmas, but gave it to me early to help me stay warm.

I went to the doctor Wednesday and got some meds. I got to experience the different heavy traffic that isn’t at rush hour.

Thursday we went off to see the Star Wars movie. We ate at the pizza place at the mall that uses wood fires to cook the pizza.

It was interesting that the reflection of the fire made it look like come clothing items across the hall were Pentecostal…

There was stuff like blue milk at the movie…

It was quite crowded.

I liked it. But, there are parts I’ve got problems with. I’ve tried to write about that, but haven’t been able to stop rambling. I’ll work on that.
Friday I got up at the normal time and went to work.

In the evening, my wife and I went to the botanical garden near us for their winter event.

They light up a lot of their gardens for the event and it’s very nice.

The insides are open too.

Including the indoor igloo.

The Christmas tree collection.

The train.

In the courtyard they had a fire going for smores and such.

The back gardens were also lit up and open.

The forest path out to the Wild Grumpus was lit up with magical little lights moving through the trees.

The magical laser projector was along the path.

As we went along the path to the Grupus it started to snow. It was very fitting.

The Grupus was well lit up.

There was a different path back.

The snow coming down was light and didn’t cause a problem.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to our friends in New Hampshire.

We had planned to spend the night, but being sick we changed our plans.
We stopped at my wife’s favorite Cheese Cave on the way.

Then, up to NH.

It’s a nice drive.

My wife likes this bear.

Then, to our friends.

The dogs were very excited.

No swimming in the lake this visit.

As it was cold out, we mostly stayed in and ate good food all day.

And, the snow returned.

The dogs remained impressed.

Totem poles?

There was crafting time too.

Again, the snow wasn’t bad and we drove home without problem.
