We did actually get some sun this week.

I did finally manage to win a low level raid in Pokemon. Two rare candy for me!

One of my coworkers spend Wednesday trying to give away a TV. If only it actually worked…

I did visit the Chinese restaurant from the 70’s for lunch one day.

It was a week of strange clouds.

We also had some mornings that were very foggy.

I did go to the dentist again. My car tried to hide from me again. It got a bit better as it tried hiding behind a tree. But, I still found it.

I took this photo to settle a debate with the store clerk about how much I should pay for the mellon drink on the left I like…

We did stop for Chinese food and visiting Michael the turtle.

Saturday was pretty damp.

We were going out to western Mass to visit a friend, but the turnpike was stopped with aggressive truck drivers honking at people.

Strange as it is easy to track that aggressive driver.

A few years ago we did a show for a faire that left us unhappy. (http://fbhjr.livejournal.com/910568.html )
The faire is still going and we here stories that it is going great. So, when trying to avoid the turnpike on a different road, we saw the ads for it this year.

We didn’t see any other adds. So, one sign along a secondary road doesn’t convince me that they are doings well as we may have heard.
And, we had lots of time to look for other signs.

We did eventually escape the traffic and head west.
I’m not saying we were still stuck behind a slow driver. Just, that same car was in front of us for a long time…

Finally, open roads.

But, more rain too.

We got to Northampton after almost 3 hours to go what usually only takes about 1.

But, we did finally meet our friend Jeff and go out to dinner.

We also spent some time walking around town, and looking at the office of our mutual congressman there.

This seems like an interesting building.

Is it a bad sign that the post office is for rent?

(The actually moved the post office to a different place…)

The drive home had some strange clouds.

For a while it seemed to be just a line of clouds following the road.

At least on the way home I had more sympathy for the slow being in front of my car…

I was also surprised that this oil change shop won’t deal with people with ESP…

We did eventually get out from under the cloud.

And, the moon came to visit.

My wife wanted a photo of these cows. Not sure why…

Even as dark as it seemed, the sun wasn’t actually down.

But, it clearly was by the time we got home.
