I think the folks who rent us our apartment don’t really want us to use the pool.

Must pick up the pass in person between 10:30 and 5:30, weekdays only?
I leave for work at 6:30 and am luck to get back by 6:00.

The only reason we got ours was my wife got out early the day the school where she works had graduation.

Didn’t matter. Even with the holiday Monday it was raining. So, no pool or tennis courts…

I don’t normally use those things. But, they are part of my rent and I resent them making it difficult for me.

Anyhow, I thought it interesting that rental trucks have their height backwards on the side to remind drivers in the mirror how tall it is.

But, this doesn’t stop them from behaving badly. This one was driving in lanes that weren’t allowed, weaving in and out and flashing his lights for folks to get out of his way.

He got mad at me when I slowed down in front of him on a hill. But, it was rush hour on a busy road. Don’t try and go 20 over the speed limit in a truck in those conditions.

Wednesday I had my regular doctor visit. I’m still fat. My blood pressure goes up 20 points every time I’m there. To be told that I had to pay $25…

But, at least going in late traffic was better, right? Nope.

1 could either show the sky or the flowers, not both.

We had some storms this week.

Apparently one killed this mole in the work parking lot.

My encounters with moles have not been good, so I didn’t have too much sympathy.

My wife and I are looking forward to this movie as the main character is very much like one we had in our comic book 30 years ago.

I had one day this week with 7 hours of meetings. So, this isn’t all the work I don’t this week, but it feels that way.

The storms are washing all sorts of seed pods to the ground. I’m hoping this means the pollen time comes to an end. But, we’re still at the "medium-high" level.

The new blue car shows yellow pollen well…

We got my wife’s old car ready to be picked up. She’s donating it to a charity that comes and gets old cars and sells them for funds.

At work this week we had a mini "Trade show" where a manufacturing representative brought in a bunch of companies she represents and had sandwiches for folks who came to meet them.
She’s supplied me parts since the 90’s at several different companies, so she asked me to put up posters about the event, which I did.
At the end, I won a label maker in the raffle.

She assured me it wasn’t fixed for my helping her…

That's a nice pool! I would totally use it. We lived in a complex that had a pool for awhile. The kids were younger and loved it. The last place we lived had a private lake and in the two years we lived there, we used it only once.

What does the doctor advise for your high blood pressure? Mine was so high several years ago that my doctor was seriously worried about me. I refused to go on a life-time medication like that and actually did manage to get it down, and keep it down, with yoga and cutting out salt and caffeine.
