Happy birthday to my sister

Tomorrow is my sister’s 69th birthday.
It will also be 8220 days since I last year from her. Or, 22 ½ years.
It’s a bit strange to me that the last time I heard from her was exactly on the opposite side of the sun from her birthday, August 7th…

I miss her very much.
As I’ve said before, and will undoubtedly say again, if her life is better for me not being in it, then that is a price I’m willing to pay.
But, it doesn’t stop me from missing her and wishing things were different.

I hope she’s OK. Her mother died at 46 years old, and my sister is more than two decades past that.
But, our father made it to 85. His mother made it to 87. (His father to 49, so don’t count that…)
The phone company says she still owns a phone. Her name has not shown up in her town’s paper’s obituary column.
So, hopefully she’s doing well.
