A month or so after the darkest day of the year it is almost to the point when there is some actual sunlight at points of my commute.
Not yet, but soon…

Tuesday didn’t seem like there was an ice/snow storm coming.

But, Wednesday morning…

The driving wasn’t too bad.

It was supposed to stop in the morning, but didn’t really.

I guess a fair number of folks took it as a reason to leave work early.

And, traffic wasn’t good.

Including three car accidents in the high speed lane.

The combination of ice and snow did cause some strange features where the snow slid off the ice making strange shapes.

My wife and I discussed if this is the best way to honor the Princess Leia hairstyle.

So, we went to see Rogue One again.
This time we got to see the whole screen and they didn’t project other images over the ending of the movie. But, we went to a different theater too…
I’m still mad at the theater that did such a bad job on opening night. Especially since the manager’s response to me was "I can’t do anything but offer you free tickets to another show". If they can’t show it right, why would I want to see it done wrong more? Even for free?
But, I digress.

We went to see the movie this morning and then drove into Worcester.

We visited Lois Lane and got our comics.

Then went over to Wings over Worcester for lunch.

I can see them now.
The snow on that roof created strange forms

Sounds like a pretty good week.

I'm still driving to work in the complete dark. I think this year more than any other, I'm looking forward to earlier sunrises.

The snow is so pretty to see! Though I'm glad not to have to drive in it. It's been almost 20 years since I last did, which would probably mean doom.

Despite being uncomfortable in the heat here I'm not so sure I would like the snow. I'm not a fan of being cold!

Your experience at the opening of the movie sounds like a disaster! I'll bet there were some really upset people. I still haven't seen the movie, but want to before it's out of the theatres.

And, last summer when the Star Trek came out, the sound went out for the first 20 minutes.
So, two big openings that went badly.

What annoys me is when I complain they offer free tickets. That's nice and all, but when are they going to show it right? I don't want to see it, even for free, if I can't see it right.
Their manager seems to totally miss that point...

I think I'd probably skip that theatre all together for movie openings in the future.
