There was a good bit of rain this morning.

So, we made scones and had tea.

Ben also found our key to the city of Worcester. Perhaps not as impressive as he expected.

(Of course, we stole our: http://fbhjr.livejournal.com/936506.html )

The weather continued to be rainy.

We had waited until after rush hour, so the drive in was fairly fast.

Cambridge has a lot of Pokemon to be caught.

We parked near the Boston Science Museum, and walked to the MIT museum. (We ended up never going to the Boston one…)
It was a fair walk.

It was a fairly damp walk.

But, Poke’s were caught and eggs were hatched…

We got to the museum and my wife was happy to find they had a glass exhibit.

They had some history of robot stuff too.

They had a very interesting holography exhibit. But, no photos.

They also had a kinetic sculpture exhibit that was very interesting.

They had benches.

They had some cool hands on things.

They had some interesting building things.

I worry that the thing the geiger counter got the most reading off of was a normal coffee cup…

They had a laser based musical instrument.

Ben seemed interested in this subject and watched several of their videos on it.

Then, back out into the rain.

I didn’t know Asgard was in Cambridge…

Maybe we should do a Phoenix Swords show for these folks…

I think it is nice they put aside a place for graffiti artists.

We reached the subway and went underground…

We crossed the river into Boston.

We got to city hall and climbed back to the surface.

There were, of course, still Pokemon to catch.

We made our way to Quincy market with many, many places to eat.

It was quite crowded.

We couldn’t all get a place to sit.

I find it interesting they are putting up signs about the $20 monks…

We did stop at the carousel near there.

They have interesting animals to ride.

My wife picked the lobster.

We did walk over to the harbor.

There were Pokemon to catch there…

There was much discussion of the face you should make if you only find the most basic Pokemon even if there is a lure out.

Then, back to the subway.

The rain had stopped, but it was after 4. We decided to flee the city before rush hour got bad.

There were still plenty of weird clouds around.

We had dinner on the way home and then watched Big Trouble in Little China when we made it back.
For dust reasons there have been bedroom changes. We’ll see how that works out.

Here is random video from the last couple of days…

Looks like a fun day in town.

I also find it interesting that there is a sign the fake monks. I have never seen it for any other type of pan handler. Maybe it is because they are pretending to be religious.

I love that graffiti alley they made. It must be fun to walk there from time to time and look at all the things being on the walls. Some graffiti can be really pretty.

Looks like an interesting day.
Are there so many of these fake monks around they need a sign?

Despite the rain it looks like it was a great day! I love that robot arm. I'd love to have one of those in my house!

I like that graffiti lane. I wish we had one of those where I live but with good art like that. All around here there is plenty of tags and male genitals but no nice graffiti art.

Huh, now I'm wondering if the two Asian women that are always trying to offer me bead bracelets outside of South Station are related to those fake monks?
