When I go out to places that give me fortune cookies I keep the fortune.
After they build up for a while, I record them here.

Here is the latest batch:
1) You are a man of righteousness and integrity.
2) One extends one’s limits only be exceeding them.
3) Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
4) Opportunities surround you if you know where to look.
5) Old friends make best friends.
6) A new romance is in the future.
7) Time to break out of that corner, unstuck that rut.
8) A man who trims himself to suit everybody will soon whittle himself away.
9) Time is the wisest counselor.
10) If your friend wants to learn to drive, don’t stand in the way.
11) relationships.
It’s an odd bunch. Some I’d like to be true (#1 & #4). Some I’m sure are
wrong (#2, #5 & #6)The last one is the one I got today. I’m not even sure
what it is supposed to mean.

I’m not normally one to put my faith in baked goods.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy them. But, rarely take their advice to heart.
Still the fortune cookie last night seemed to have a point:
“Things could be better, but they are good enough.”
