It was a beautiful day.

But, the plants are having so much sex you can see it on your windshield after you use your wipers.


The leaves are finally starting to sprout. I like this for several reasons. It looks good. It cuts down on the wind. And, once they have leaves to worry about, they don’t have as much sex.



We ended up not having sword practice today as most of the people wanted to do things with their mothers for mother's day. I can't say I minded. I liked staying in the filtered air.

I did work on one of the extra swords I got in Wales today.
I did the filing while watching "The Big Hit".

Then, I polished it while watching "Muppets take Manhattan".


It came out OK. Not as good as the one I spent the weekend working on in Wales. But this one was already partially finished before I started.
Now, I’ve got to do the handle.

My wife spent most of the day working on the new Phoenix Swords site. It is the 3rd major design of the last 12 years and the first major update in quite a while. Things are still being added, but I think it looks pretty good:
