I knew it would be bad for my fuel economy

I knew my drive home in the snow last night was going to cost me a lot on
fuel.
But, I hadn’t expected to find out it was the worst fuel economy I’ve ever
had with this car.

I had to update the scale on the chart to get it to fit on.
Sad.

It brings my over all average down to 49.813 miles per gallon. (21.18
km/liter)

So far this makes December the only month this year where I haven’t done
better than last year when I first got it.



I’m hoping the trip next week will bring that back up.
We’ll see.

Yeah, lots of idling kiiiiiiills gas mileage. I never realized how much until I got my new car, last year. I have a dummy-meter that constantly shows me my mileage. Guh. Just sitting in the drive-through for my coffee will blip it down by a couple of points. I can see what your drive did. Yikes. I'm sure your roadtrip will straighten that right out.

I had to fill up the tank the other day way before I was expecting to from my mileage.
