The pull of my addiction

fbhjrIt is over half my life ago I gave up alcohol. I can’t deny there are
plenty of times I’m tempted to fall off of that wagon. But, so far I have
not had any trouble staying on.
But, this week I have been tempted by my other addiction.
I miss caffeine.
It’s been 27 ½ years since I gave up alcohol. But, it’s only been 3 since
I gave up caffeine.
And, on cold, wet weeks like this when work is not going well and I’m not
getting much sleep?
It is very hard not to reach for a cup of tea or a diet soda.
