Week in photos
Nov. 24th, 2013 08:27 amWeek in photos
Monday it was warm enough for me to eat lunch outdoors. It was about 65F/18C, which is very warm for this time of year.

I enjoyed it a lot as it will probably be the last lunch outside for many months.

Every day on my way to work I drive past the building where my father used to work.

And, I think “if I went to work there as my parents wanted, I’d have a much shorter drive to work.”
But, I didn’t like the work. (Power company) And, when I had looked at a job there everyone said “Oh, you’re Frank Hunt’s boy”. I didn’t want the job because I was my father’s son. And, he and I were very different anyhow, so it probably would not have been a good fit.
So, I just look at the sunrise and keep driving.

The wild turkeys continued to run around our building all week.

This photo is actually of a refraction rainbow.

Here it is up close.

They finally finished the roof on the building at work. Only a year late!

My wife had donated to our congressman’s reelection campaign. He had sent back a signed thank you letter that my wife appreciated.
Friday night I brought home Chinese food as I had worked so late.
Sadly, I spilled it on her letter.

I wrote to him and explained and asked if he could send a second thank you letter.
We’ll see if he does.
This morning there is snow!

Yes, it is not very much and is a month later than normal.
But, this is the perfect amount! Enough to look pretty and not stop things from happening.

I am the head of their mechanical engineering department.
I usually refer to it as designing giant robot freezers.
