30 years together!

fbhjr30 years ago my friend Jack had a party. He knew I had been looking to meet someone since my girlfriend and I had broken up a couple of months before.
Jack told me there would be women at his party. Since he had dated about three quarters of the women on campus, and about half the men, I figured he’d tell the truth about that.
So, I headed off to the party at his place.
When I got there I found he was technically right. There were women there. Two. And, one was his girlfriend at the time.
But, lucky for me, his girlfriend had bought along one of her friends.
She and I hit it off pretty well. In the last 30 years we’ve done all sorts of things, gone all sorts of places, and shared many good times with friends. (Not in any particular order.)
I’m not saying it has been all sunshine and happiness. We’ve had some VERY bad times over those 30 years.
But, it has always been better when she is with me.
That has never changed.
Hopefully we are not even to the halfway point yet!
