I got this from alicia_stardust. The way it works is you
comment and I give you an age. You then say things about where you were
then and now. That means you should probably give me your age if you do
this as I don’t know how old most folks are.

Then (32):
I lived in: A nice little corner apartment on the third floor overlooking a
courtyard in Shrewsbury, MA.
I drove: A 1993 Saturn SL1.
I was in a relationship with: My wife. We had been married 2 years at that
point.
I feared: Not measuring up. (See below.)
I worked at: After working 5 years at a telecom company and being very
unhappy, I moved over to work for a company that made awnings for
recreational vehicles. The general manager put me in direct competition
with the engineer who had been there for years. He told me that after 6
months one of us would be made chief engineer, the other one laid off.
I wanted to be: Respected

Now (49):
I live in: Same place.
I drive: A 2012 Toyota Prius C (First new car I’ve had since that Saturn
above.)
I was in a relationship with: My wife.
I fear: Being haunted by monsters of the past
I work at: A company making Giant Robot Freezers as the head of mechanical
design
I wanted to be: Happy
