While the storm yesterday was much less than forecast by the local TV, it did coat the trees.

And, my wife’s car is clearly ready to go to Florida.

There are some schools of thought that say I should have scraped my windows more before setting off this morning.

But, they looked OK on the outside.

It was a nice sunrise.

The snow was very sticky. How sticky? Stay on your hood at 60mph/100kph sticky.

But, once at work in the sun, it melted off pretty fast.

It was funny, at least to me, that when I left for lunch the whole roof of snow slid off and made a snow trail behind me for about 50 feet.
I didn’t get a photo of that as it was the middle of the road and I was driving.

Date: 2013-02-26 03:00 pm (UTC)be a pet-peeve of mine, but I try to have enough distance behind them, as it's a really cool effect
seeing the snow 'explode'/"Poof" and dissipate. Makes me think like a Bond car releasing some countermeasure
or a fighter jet letting off chaff & flare.
Small cars don't bother me as much as SUV's and Trucks, though. I realize truckers can't get up to the roofs
of their trailers to wipe off all of that snow, so I try to keep my distance. But I feel SUV drivers have no excuse.
So many of them are so arrogantly proud of their behemoths, but won't take the 2 minutes to wipe the snow
off the roof = Lazy/Arrogance :P
