President’s day

I had today off from work, but my wife did not.
So about lunch time I went off to bring her lunch.

It was a very clear day:


The snow is not as clean as it use to be.


I went to our favorite Chinese place near where she works.
It may be a holiday for celebrating presidents and such, but some folks still park quite badly.


The woman who works at the Chinese place always seems happy to see me and outright grinned when I wished her a happy new year. She knew what I wanted before I said it.

Then, up the hill to the college where my wife works.


After lunch I took my car to the car wash just across the river from where she works.


I’m afraid the rest of the day was food shopping, laundry, World of Warcraft and Space 1999.
Not a busy day, but not bad either.

I remember building some fairly realistic looking Eagle spaceships with my Lego set back int he 1970s..
