This week’s sword practice

This week at sword practice Tom showed up for the first time in 6 or so months.
He and I reviewed our longsword fight. Good as I had been trying to teach it to others and forgot a bit.


The rest of the folks worked on Meyer’s rapier again.


As it was very damp the floor was slippery. This led to some slipping on the floor that did not go well for Tom.


He was OK, but decided to call it a day after that and headed home.
Devon decide to avoid doing this, by taking his shoes off. I guess that worked.


We did finish the tent poles and rope holders today.

So, the tent should be all set for out next show with it.

Devon and David started writing a fight.


On our way home we stopped for dinner. The lake near where we lived was very foggy.


When we got home we found the red car that had been sitting, apparently abandoned, for many months was finally gone.

I don’t know if the apartment complex took it away, or if the owner did, but I’m glad it is finally gone.

No, Tom slid and overextended himself. No one was working with him at the time.

No, it looks more like " Tom, are you okay, *snicker*,*giggle*. Good your okay, bwhaaaaa". I'm just guessing. I'm glad the tent bits are down. I am truly sorry I missed helping, I like doing that stuff.

Looks like a lot of fun! I love that you post pictures of what you've been up to, I have a pretty good imagination but it's really good to SEE things!

A picture is worth 1000 words, right?
And, I think that saying was made when photos were still black and white.
So these days it must be worth far more words.
And, I am too lazy to write out that whole thing when I can just point and shoot a camera.

Actually it is very little snow for us.
25cm 2 weeks ago and nothing since. We usually have a meter or more by now. Sometimes 2+ meters.
Today it was 15 degrees out. Normal is -3 or so.

But, you are still far warmer than we our. Our turn will come in 6 months or so.
