Gun stories

Several of the folks on my friends lists here and on facebook have been
talking about guns, gun control, second amendment rights and such.
I’ve known several people who owned guns, some who probably should not
have, many who should have. So, I’m going to write up some of those
stories.
I’m not trying to promote any side of the debate, just telling stories.
Personally, I don’t like guns. They are, to me, too easy. Lethal force
can be applied with too little effort to make me comfortable.
But, that’s me. So, I don’t use them.
I use bows, swords, daggers, spears, and other similar things.
I feel more comfortable with those things. Because, for the most part, if
I hurt someone with those, it is someone who works in the sword troupe and
knows the risks, or someone I set out to hurt.
But, again, that’s me.

Date: 2013-01-05 02:26 pm (UTC)I will occasionally play with flintlocks, and when I am LARPing as my Grammaton Cleric character I have nerfs for that (which granted, don't really count) but overall I prefer bladed weaponry too. For larp, re-enactment, training etc. looooove swords.....
