Choose and perish
Jun. 16th, 2011 11:31 amThis morning the guy who sits next to me got into a conversation with me
about dying due to the machines we work on. We both agreed that being
frozen at -112F would be pretty bad, but we’ve worked other places where it
would be worse.
So, that got me thinking about which one would be worse.
I thought a quiz would be in order, even if I think I know which one will
be picked the most.
Honestly, I’m not sure how some of these things would be deadly. But, I’ve
taken a shot at guessing.

Date: 2011-06-16 06:58 pm (UTC)On the other hand, I have SEEN someone almost killed by office furniture before. He was hired to assemble new office cubicles we got in, and before lunch, he was lying on the floor trying to attach a desk surface when his "Helpers" dropped it on him, with the sharp, hooked ends where it was supposed to attach to the wall landing on his head and producing a wide, deep cut. He survived, fortunately, though when the ambulance and police showed up to take him to the hospital, all these 'professional assemblers' disappeared and never came back.
