Moving day
Sep. 20th, 2007 08:50 amI moved into my new office today. It’s very nice. Not big, but has a window.
It’s going to take me a while to get my junk adjusted. The IT woman is trying to get the computer going now, so I’m using my laptop for this. And, I’ve giving a tour in 10 minutes to a supplier.
I did find one important lesson. Don’t pick up X-Acto blades with a magnet. It results in a bunch of very sharp blades shooting at your fingers.
But, I had bandaids too.
(Did you know bandaids stop the track pad from working? Now I do...)

I had just enough time to see them flying at my hand, but not drop the magnet. Of course, once I did drop it, it turned into a hedgehog of blade points sticking out in all directions.
