Thanksgiving vegetable

This has been a real low energy holiday for us.
We went to cissa & cosmicirony's place for the big dinner. (Thank you again!)
And then, have mostly sat around for the remaining time.
We've gone as far as the supermarket, and I did get my wife's car a tune up. But, the garage is even closer then the supermarket.

I'm not complaining or anything. It has been very restful.
Usually we're off dashing about and this is a nice change, especially getting over the cold that wouldn't go away.

Today we're back to going to sword practice in the cold, and tomorrow will be crazy at work as the powers that be are there for an all week conference.

So, this past few days of just sitting about have been very nice.

Sometimes the simplest things are the best, and the things we are most thankful for, like low-effort holiday weekends!

Good luck this week - hopefully you don't end up with the Swiss Overloards getting stuck in the freezers with those -80 degree spiders.

I was really happy to have the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday UNEVENTFUL. It was great having you guys come for Thanksgiving! but I was very relieved that I, at least, wasn't driving all over the place to spend a couple of days in chaos. Poor J!

ETA: Have you plans for Xmas? We usually do goose, but if we can't find a decent-sized one, we might do roast beef. You'd be very welcome!
