I’m a sucker for Apple products. Have been for 25 years since I bought my first Mac.
So, Friday I picked up the new Apple TV.
My wife and I want to try this streaming NetFlix to your TV thing that sounds pretty cool.
So, I got it home and went to hook it up.
The only hook up is an HDTV plug. I do not have an HDTV.
Yesterday I stopped at BestBuy to look for a converter.
“Sorry,” the sales clerk told me. “They don’t make very many. They want you to buy a new TV.
“The good news is I have a TV here that will work for only $400.”
“That’s not going to fly,” I said. “My wife was OK with my buying the $100 Apple TV. But, if I then go and tell her it takes a $400 TV to make it work, she will not be happy.”
“Then, you should look on line. Maybe you can find one there...”
Sad.
What do you have for connections on your TV?
