My and I had a nice dinner out, the decided to drive into the city to go to a supermarket that usually has stuff the ones out here in Blandville don’t.
Sadly, today they didn’t have the stuff I wanted either.
While we were there, my wife heard two young men boasting about how they had just stolen a car and brought it there to the supermarket.
We both pondered that for a bit.
Why would someone do that?
Then, it occurred to me.
“They’re morons,” I said. (OK, that part didn’t confuse you.) “They probably thought you should bring a stolen car to a chop shop. So, they brought it here to Price Chopper.”
On the way home we saw someone who appeared to be having a screaming fit while alone in the car. Maybe that isn’t weird. Doing it while going down the highway at 65 while weaving across 2 1/2 lanes? We got off an exit early and took the back roads home.
And, in general, driving was abysmal today. People signaling and going straight. People cutting each other off. And, everyone seemed to be testing their horn.
But, it could be worse. I could be a moron with a stolen car wandering around a Price Chopper supermarket wondering what I have to say to get someone to make an offer for the stolen car.
