This weekend we performed at Anton’s Mystic Realms faire:

We brought a lot of folks with us as we really like Anton:

The group in general is pushing the tech envelope. When I got an iPad, the one who is not Bill started doing two iPhones at once to add up to the same size screen.

perrin_o_ravnos led a team of all female (except him) good guys.

The bad guys were not supposed to be zombies, but after a 6 hour drive...

It is rare that we get minstrels who time their songs and music to our act. We like them.

The bad guys had a plan. No one said it was a good plan.

The good guys seemed to have ears.

This did not impress the bad guys.

I’m not sure why this counts as “Wild foul carvings”, but that’s what the sign behind them says...

perrin_o_ravnos likes to drink Fred. A bottled water found only on the New Jersey Turnpike.

This man had a machine that makes bubbles. Everyone likes bubbles.

(Years ago we had someone who played a character named Bubbles. There are a lot of jokes I could put in here about everyone liking Bubbles. But, I’m not...)

There was singing and dancing.

And, sword juggling.

Of course if you drop a sword while juggling it you must pray for the audience to forgive you.

Some people liked this more than others.

Why does it seem I always dance with the guys?

This may well be the most dangerous place on the planet for my credit card.

Phoenix Swords and its managers do not condone sex with stuffed animals. Especially at our kids shows.

Do you remember the Kids In The Hall skit about Hitler and the donkey? I do...

This one bothers me. A lot. But, that’s because I’m usually the one on top.

But, I was happy because things could be worse.

At least I didn’t lose to the fairy. The folks who work there actually questioned a fairy having a sword. I don’t know what fairy tales they read, but they aren’t the ones I read.
The ones I read often have mean fairies in them.
