It didn’t rain, but better safe then sorry, right.
With field trips and Easter it’s been a few weeks, so it took a while to unpack the weapons for practice.

When we were at the convention my wife performed at a couple of weeks ago, I bought some additional dussack in the expectation of a class on them we’re planning for the summer.
Now with more, we can do two handed stances. We thought these were really funny, combining different wards.
There is foolish unicorn:

But, we did seriously work on some of the mismatched from a manual written by Filippo Vadi in honor of his patron Prince Guido di Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino in the 1480’s.
It has spear vs two sticks:

Several folks also went through Meyer’s 1570’s rapier vs spear:

It also has some very nasty long sword moves.

Then we were all happy to go out for Chinese/Japanese food at a place recommended by the woman who cuts our hair.

No really, we were happy, just tired.

And, the food was good.
