fbhjrMy wife and I just finished watching the movie Reclaiming the Blade.
They spend some time with the folks from the Royal Armories in Leeds. Many years ago those folks came over to the Higgins museum and taught some sword classes.
The long sword fight I do with Tom is based on some of those moves.
It was VERY strange seeing them do those fights in a movie. Granted, a movie about sword fighting. But, it's been so long since I took the class, it was surprising to see it.
Cool. And, I'm glad to see the folks there are still teaching it.
But, weird too.
