Comics, laundry & sushi

I spent most of the day trying to finish up the sorting of the comics while getting the laundry done.
I think I’ve got them all. I’m not 100% sure, there are probably some still lurking somewhere in the closet behind things or under things. But, this is most of them.
I need to get at least one more box for them too, but at least they’re out of the closet.
In the evening my wife and I drove out to Concord and met my cousin for dinner. She heads back to FL tomorrow, and my wife was looking forward to getting to visit with her as well.
We went to a sushi place across the street from Solidworks HQ. I’ve been using Solidworks as my CAD system for about 10 years and used to be a beta tester for them. And, when a friend’s brother was in Concord prison across the street, I used to visit him there.
So, I drove by the sushi place fairly often.
Sadly, it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. It wasn’t bad. But, our usual place is better.
It was still a very nice visit and I’m glad we got to spend more time with my cousin.

If I do manage to get one, then yes I can model stuff for you.

Date: 2009-07-15 10:34 pm (UTC)Have you looked at Adobe, they opened a new place in Waltham, of course that commute is the pits and I would not want any of my friends to suffer it, but, work is work is work. I have also seen other computer companies, symantec, Autodesk...

The only thing I might be able to get would be in customer service telling people how to use the product.
But, that's not something I'd be after.
I want to design new stuff, not give instructions to people who won't read the manual. I want to be the one not reading it.
