Dancing in the street

This evening my wife and I walked up to where the main north-south road through town is closed for construction.


The road is closed and can’t be passed.


This lets folks like me stand in what is normally a busy road and dance.


Despite all of the signs, folks still drive up there and try and get past.
They quickly turn around.


On the way home we saw a tree monster. It’s like a sea monster, but on land. These move very slowly and go after powerlines.


Any day now this tree monster will bite down and the power to the street will go out. Hopefully a heroic team of tree trimmers will take care of the problem.

Looking up at tree monsters I did notice the gunk it streetlights.
