A preponderance of Auld

On the way in to work today I put on my holiday playlist. There was a
clear pattern and when I could sit down and look at the playlist it was
clear.
30% of my holiday playlist is different versions of Auld Lang Syne.

I’ve got very traditional ones right through dance versions. But, I hadn’t
realized I had quite so many.

Maybe I should branch out and get some other holiday music.
Any suggestions?

An average job

Today my job as head of mechanical engineering for the giant robot freezer
company is an average job.
To be honest, it’s better than most of the jobs I’ve had in pay, product
and work environment.
But, today I have worked here 3.16 years, which is as of today, the average
length of time I’ve spent at any of the 8 jobs I’ve had since getting out
of college more than a quarter century ago.

Tomorrow, it will be an above average job.
