While very good it probably had as many calories as everything else I ate all day combined. But, it was still fun to indulge, so thank you

Now I usually get my DVDs over at the Newbury comics near us as they sell used ones fairly cheap, and I am cheap. But, once in a while I’ll get them at Borders if I can’t get them there. And, my wife has bought a fair number of movies needed for her department at the college at Borders because they used to have a fairly well stocked foreign film section.
But, it really looks to me like they’re trying to get rid of their DVDs. The section is only 1/3 the size it was before Christmas, and most of the ones they still have are marked 50% off.
Being cheap, I looked through them.
I found some I thought were strange, especially for a bookstore in Shrewsbury.
Virgins from Hell? I guess it’s an Indonesian film. Based on the IMDB write up my wife said it might be funny to watch as a joke. But, not for $20...
The Happy Hooker Trillogy?
The pigkeeper’s daughter?
Maybe it’s me. But, it just seems weird to find these at Borders. Especially up front in the 50% off bin...

Date: 2009-04-24 01:52 am (UTC)I have heard of "Happy Hooker"...Haven't seen it though, not really interested either...Nor for the other titles.
But indeed strange to find that at Borders..Although I've seen other odd titles in the bargain books section, one of those sexual positions books, cooking insects...(not in that order mind you)
