Back when I was unemployed in 1988, I also went through an Easter without a job. That year my (not yet) wife had to go in and work that Sunday morning.
I decided to go and get something for Easter dinner while she was working.
Unlike now, markets weren’t open on Easter in 1988. The only place I could find open was a small sea food shop.
So, we had lobster for Easter dinner.

This year, my wife thought we should relive that year. And, given the lake monster problems in Shrewsbury, it was probably a good idea to get rid of a few extra sea bugs anyhow.

Maybe Ents don’t like them, but we do.

Today I drove back to my old job to get some data I left on the computers.
My old boss was very nice and let me grab whatever I wanted. Mostly, I wanted my pictures from my trips to China.

But, he was also nice enough to give me some of the parts I designed.

It didn’t hurt my feelings to have my old boss take me through the factory saying:
“You designed this, that, that, this... There isn’t much you didn’t have a hand in, is there?”

On the way home I found some very inexpensive bookcases at Baal-Mart so got two. That should help me finish the office this week.

Yum! I bet you guys have 'real' lobster too...and real crab legs! When we come to visit, even though Dieter doesn't like seafood, I'd love to have some real, fresh crab legs...we can swing through the McDonalds drive-thru for Dieter. :-)

Sole Proprietor is our FAVORITE restaurant, ever. It's the smoked seafood appetizer, and the flan for dessert. :)

I lived across the street from it for 10 years, but never went in.
Being down wind of their dumpster didn't help...

My wife tried to get Dieter to eat a sea bug once.
Didn't work.

Yeah...He did try to eat it once before...But he hesitated and your wife decided to take matters into her own hands/mouth for him :P

That was as entertaining as seeing his reaction of the Sea Bug.

Poor Dieter... :P
