Doing our part against aquatic menace!
Apr. 13th, 2009 08:08 pmBack when I was unemployed in 1988, I also went through an Easter without a job. That year my (not yet) wife had to go in and work that Sunday morning.
I decided to go and get something for Easter dinner while she was working.
Unlike now, markets weren’t open on Easter in 1988. The only place I could find open was a small sea food shop.
So, we had lobster for Easter dinner.
This year, my wife thought we should relive that year. And, given the lake monster problems in Shrewsbury, it was probably a good idea to get rid of a few extra sea bugs anyhow.

Maybe Ents don’t like them, but we do.

Today I drove back to my old job to get some data I left on the computers.
My old boss was very nice and let me grab whatever I wanted. Mostly, I wanted my pictures from my trips to China.

But, he was also nice enough to give me some of the parts I designed.
It didn’t hurt my feelings to have my old boss take me through the factory saying:
“You designed this, that, that, this... There isn’t much you didn’t have a hand in, is there?”
On the way home I found some very inexpensive bookcases at Baal-Mart so got two. That should help me finish the office this week.
