This week’s practice

We’re going to be performing at the Frozen Fire Festival in Boston next weekend: https://frozenfirefestival.com/
So, decided to practice some before the big show.
As we did not rent our normal practice space for December to have one practice, we practiced at Casey’s house instead.


Folks seemed more interested in his quail than the fire, but we’re used to fire…



We picked a small area as we’re not sure what the stage will be like.



It still went well enough.





















We did break one prop and it was decided the backups weren’t good enough, but we still have plenty of show.

At home there is going to be a new expansion of World of Warcraft soon and one of the new things is characters can get individual houses.
A tutorial I saw on Youtube showed how to make your house float. As my primary character is a mage, I went with that.



My wife has not yet bought the expansion, so can’t make her own house. But, I invited her character to my house and she came over and jumped on the furniture. She tells me that’s what elves do…



She did like the little gazebo I made by the sea cliff with a table of tea and fruit.


I did decide having my house floating might be construed as antisocial, so I put in a path leading to the door. Yes, it is too steep to climb, but that’s a different question.
