Weeks in photos

I missed doing a photo thing the last couple of weeks. We’ve got to go back to April 20th for the sword symposium.
We got up reasonably early and left for western Mass.




Not a great day, but it’s still pretty there. We were the first there, so the building wasn’t open yet.




Soon it opened and the rare books were put out.



Some early Shakespeare books.



Everyone was excited about some first folio Shakespeare that our friend Mark got to hold.




One guest speaker was in person, one on line. There was much discussion of the in person speaker’s shoes as she said they stood in for armor.





After the morning talks there was the lunch we paid for as a Phoenix Swords promotion, then we got a tour of the book vault in the basement.
It included some Chaucer and Gutenberg.











It ran long and we didn’t get on the road home again until after 6, but we did have a very nice rainbow for a lot of the trip home.














Our supermarket is not good at restocking. Over the last few weeks they’ve been running low on the sausage I like. And, then ran out.


But, then restocked enough that they filled a freezer.


But, the other market lets you see what you’re wife is buying.



At work it is almost light when I get to work.



I got an actual rejection letter from a place I applied to this week. I had no idea anyone still sent them out.


Tuesday the highway was shut down. Not because we all had dinner with my former boss, but it did work out that way.






The highway was open on the way home, but a bridge was using it.




The next night was meeting my wife and her students for the student dinner.

A coworker quit and went to Olympus. A few years later, he left there and came back to our factory. Corporate culture was an issue, he says.
